History

The history of the Boucheron brand began in France in 1858 when its creator Frédéric Boucheron, a 28-year-old jeweler, decided to open his first store at the Galerie de Valois in the Palais Royal in central Paris. Later, nine years later, in 1867, Frédéric Boucheron won his first gold medal at the Paris International Exhibition. But it was only in 1988 that the brand launched its first fragrance. Fréderic was one of the first to create jewelry reproducing flowers and animals, and letting the snake become an icon of the brand.
